Our Mission

Friends of McPherson is a non-profit organization run by parents, teachers, and community members that exists to help support our school, students, and teachers, as well as building community relationships. Through fundraising activities, including special events, donations, and grant requests, FOM strives to support the school’s academic and extracurricular programs.

What We Do

Build Community Connections:
• Support local businesses through our Dine-Out program and Sponsorship program
• Host winter coat drives 
• Support neighborhood families through our Badger Bash family fund
• Sponsor various cultural events for families and our community
• Host community events and outreach 

Create Academic and Enrichment Opportunities for Students and Teachers:
• Energizabulls Fitness Center
• Art Studio
• Ballroom dance program
• Amundsen String Buddy Program
• The Kitchen Community: Outdoor Learning Garden
• Common Threads Nutritious Cooking Program
• FOM Wishlist Program to Support Teacher Classroom Needs
• Bus Fund to Support Field Trips
