Illinois Council for Teachers of Mathematics Conference

Friends of McPherson sponsored five McPherson teachers to go to the Illinois Council for Teachers of Mathematics Conference. We heard that it was fantastic and that everyone appreciated the day of learning! They came back and created slides to share what they learned with the rest of the staff as well as some new ideas that teachers can try in their classrooms! The conference has sparked productive conversation around supporting our students' engagement in math through more discussion, rich tasks, and connections to the real world.
