Orchestra Update & Partnership With Amundsen Strings

We are beyond thrilled to announce our partnership with Amundsen Strings! When we first started fundraising at the start of the school year to help build our first orchestra program, we weren’t sure how long it would take to come to fruition. Now, with the help of the Amundsen Strings mentorship program and our tireless music instructor, Ms. Baronia, our school orchestra is already taking shape with the addition of violins, cellos, basses and violas! Each week, our 4th grade students will buddy up with their Amundsen “String Ambassador” with the ultimate goal of playing in a concert together in May! Orchestra will also be offered to 5th-8th grade students after school. Huge thank you to Michael Spadaro, owner of A440 Violin Shop, for supplying new music folders, instrument racks, and new orchestra instruments.
